Lawrence D. Murphy "Larry" of East Lansing, Michigan Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away June 7, 2011 at his home at the age of 47. Born February 9, 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany. Larry lived in the Lansing and Sunfield for many years. Larry is survived by his wife, Melissa A. (Denton) Murphy; 4 sons, Kyle A. (Christy) Murphy, Paul A. Murphy, Cory A. Murphy, and Josh A. Murphy; daughter, Nicole Gwen; grandchildren, Brandon Nagy and Beau Nagy; his mother, Charlene (Harry) Rice and his 4 sisters, Kim Wickham, Tracey Murphy, Robin Krause, and Kelly (Adam) Richardson; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Murphy in 1990. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Friday, June 10th with services beginning at 3:00 P.M. Friday, June 10, 2011 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing. Pastor James E. Robinson will be officiating. Private interment will be in Delta Township.
