Beloved husband of Sheila; father of Nathaneal Jay, Joshua Joseph, Brandell Jo (Melanie), Nicholas Jordan (Kayla), Skylar Reed, and Adilynne Mae; grandfather of Gabriel Thomas Tomanica and Alyssa Machelle Miller;bother of Ruthanne Tomanica (Robb Kinsey), Kathleen Jean Tomanica (Don) Reed, Joseph James (Linda) Tomanica, Jr., Dolores Helen Tomanica, Timothy Albert Tomanica, Francis Edward Tomanica, Mary Jo Tomanica (Rev. David) Williams, Michael Gerard Tomanica, VI., Vincent Tomanica, Stephen Tomanica, and Charles Tomanica; son-in-law of Esta Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph James and Ruth Helen Tomanica; and sisters: Elizabeth Hubble, Constance Pelletier, and Patricia WIlson.

The family will greet friends from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home-Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Monday, March 20, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Preytor officiating. Cremation will take place following services.
