Lenore Peggy Brye

Peggy was born February 26, 1942 in Manistee Michigan, the daughter of Laverne and Jeanette (Scott) Thorsen.

Peggy's first career was as a beautician in Manistee. She later worked as a parts expediter for John Deere Co., in Lansing MI, Syracuse NY, Columbus OH, and Moline IL, for more than 30 years.

Peggy enjoyed hanging with her friends, washing her cars, mowing her lawn and eating ice cream. She occasionally liked going to the casino too. She loved having a good time and her smile and laughter were contagious.

She had a very generous heart and donated to many charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents Laverne and Jeanette Thorsen, and her in-laws Richard and Rhea Brye.

She is survived by her twin sister Phyllis Thorsen, brother and sister in law Stephan and Carol Thorsen; her children Richard Scott Brye, Tracilyn (Markus) Hertel, Todd (MyTien) Brye; grandchildren, Mitchell Hertel, Zachary Hertel, Nicole Brye and Cordell Brye; also many nieces and nephews.

Peggy will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
