Leonard passed away on July 7, 2016. He was born on December 20, 1934 to Leonard John and Cornelia (VanBelan) in Carson City, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 siblings, Kay Coburn, Cornelia Hoxie, Fred and, John, and Ruby Starry; 1 grandson, Jason Mailand; and 1 great granddaughter. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly; 5 sons, Leonard Dale (Brenda) , John Gayle (Martha) , Scott Andrew (Kimberly) , Brent Lee , and Brian Lyle (Roberta); 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Mary Pencak and Joy Flegel, and sister in law Inabeth. Leonard graduated from Alma High School in 1953, attended Western Michigan University and served in the United States Navy. Leonard retired after many years of service at General Motors in 1992. He enjoyed gardening and his time in Florida where he was the head of the Lake Region Horseshoe Group for twenty years. Memorial Services will be held at Great Lakes Bible College, on August 13, 2016 at 12 PM. 6211 W. Willow Hwy, 48917 The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home. Lansing, Michigan
