Linda lived in the Lansing area her entire life, graduated from Eastern High school and worked for the United States postal service for 44 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are; her husband of 29 years Brian Simons. Children; Ben Dillingham and daughter Kaycee (Travis) Thayer, grandchildren; Harley and Carter Thayer; Brother, Robert “Rob” as she always called him (Kathy) Fleming; as well as nieces and nephews that all have special memories of her.
Linda’s family was very important to her. She would send out cards for birthdays and Christmas so that you knew she was thinking about you. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of her favorite pastimes after she retired.
There will be a memorial service held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept 6, 2018 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 900 E. Michigan Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Family request guest honor Linda’s Lebanese heritage by wearing Lebanese attire or jewelry if able.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society 1755 Abbey Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823.
