

Linda Marie Warner, age 73, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan at University of Michigan Health–Sparrow after a long and courageous battle with COPD and lung disease. Her strength and resilience throughout her illness were a testament to the love she had for her family and the life she cherished.
Linda was born on March 3, 1952, in Lansing, Michigan, to Harold and Norma Jenks (Swift). She graduated from Waverly High School in 1970 and went on to dedicate over 25 years of service to Auto Owners Insurance as a Processor, where she was honored with numerous awards for her commitment and excellence. Linda spent her life in the Lansing area, where she raised her family and built a life rooted in love and devotion. Among her proudest accomplishments were being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, cheering on her grandchildren at sporting events, and playing board and card games with those she loved. Known for her selflessness, kindness, and quiet strength, Linda was a caring, thoughtful, and hardworking woman whose presence made the world a better place.
Linda is survived by her two children, Christopher Hubaker and Patti Warner; her beloved grandchildren, Taryn Almquist (Stacy Almquist), Christian Hubaker (Hannah DeSilva), and Connor Hubaker; and her cherished great-grandson, Beckham Almquist. She is also survived by her siblings, Bud Jenks, Mike Jenks, Merrilee Gallagher, and Ellen Arman, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends she made along the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Norma Jenks; her brother, David Jenks; her brother-in-law: Patrick Gallagher; her aunt, Virginia Gruhn; her nephew, Darren Hodgens; and her niece, Alexis Stow.
In accordance with Linda’s wishes, a private gathering will be held at Delta Cemetery where her ashes will be laid to rest. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel for their compassionate guidance, and to the staff at University of Michigan Health–Sparrow—especially Brooke, Bridget, and all the dedicated nurses who cared for Linda with such kindness and respect. Your support brought comfort during her most difficult days, and it will never be forgotten. Family, love, and generosity—these three words sum up the life Linda lived and the legacy she leaves behind.
