Play Tribute Movie

Lola Emma (Brown) Morgan was born August 27, 1920 in Whittemore, Michigan and due to COVID related issues left for her eternal home April 2, 2021 in Lansing, Michigan.

Lola was born to Harvey and Jennie Brown and had 9 siblings. Lola was a family helper for Ingham County Schools an interpreter for the deaf, volunteered for church events and in charge of prayer line for many years.

If you had a chance to know Lola, you would know how much she loved camping, traveling, church events, playing games, how big of a fan she was of the Detroit Tigers and MSU football and basketball, but most of all she loved being with her family.

If you had to describe Lola in three simple ways it would be, a bible reader, a prayer warrior and a Christian woman. Her friends and family will miss her kind heart, her smile, her way of making others laugh, her strong will to live, her honesty, her integrity, her determination and abounding faith.

Lola is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Jennie Brown, her husband Gaylord J. Morgan, her siblings and her son Tony Quintieri.

Lola is survived by her children, Michael (Jane) Quintieri, Gloria (Bill) Beliew, Carol (Wayne) Thelen and Theresa Welch and her daughter-in-law Mary Quintieri; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great- grandchildren.

A visitation for Lola will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. Visitation at Mt. Hope Church 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI 48917 on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11:00 am with service at 12:00 pm.

Aunt Lola,

I hardly knew you. I was all grown up before I even knew about you. And now God has called you home in Heaven. HE must have a really big job for you.
We all are born, we suffer and we all are called to suffer no more on this said planet that we call Earth.
As long as you are up their now, help us all continue on the Journey... as you now really have reached the true Destination...

Thank you for being a part of my life and for the love of your family.
I have so many fond memories with you like going to Sunday School, Camping at Grand Haven, Playing Yahtzee and Sleepovers.
I remember when I was 7 years old I spent the night with you and I gave you a little note that night and it said "Grandma I like you you are nice"
Grandma you carried that note in your wallet for 50 years and always reminded me how special that note was to you.
I always loved our long talks and your prayers.
You prayed day and night for your family. 🙏
I will miss calling your phone and hearing "God loves you you know please make time for him today"
Grandma you lived your life with purpose and you were truly a prayer warrior for God or as I always called you "God's Right Hand Woman".

Your love will always stay in our hearts and in our memories.

I love you and miss you Grandma.

She was a wonderful woman! I believe she had a direct line to the Lord. She was my Sunday school teacher when I was about 10 years old. My wife had just been trying to contact her, she will be missed. Prayers for the family.

The last time we had talked was about four weeks ago & it was a very deep hearted conversation for the few hours we were on the phone. I video chatted you on the day you went to go be with the Lord & I told you that my sons and I loved you🤍 you squeezed aunt debbs hand as I was talking & I knew then you were listening even though you could not talk back, I felt good knowing I got to say my goodbyes and let you know that I loved you dearly right before you passed. Your constant POWERFUL PRAYERS will always be with me and I know you are my 👼🏼 angel, anytime I needed a miracle to happen you were the FIRST person I would call for a powerful prayer! The works, wonders & blessings from your prayers you have provided your family and loved ones with are miracles and words cannot describe how much of an beautiful impact they have had on everyone around you your entire life and you have done it effortlessly. I will truley NEVER forget the love, light, memories & wisdom you have brought into my life since I was young❤️ Rest in paradise🌠grandma Morgan🌅
