Born January 7, 1925 in Gratiot County, MI, the daughter of the late Elton and Julia (Mentor) Hoffer, passed away August 14, 2012 at the age of 87. Louise graduated from Elsie High School in 1943. She married the love of her life, Howard W. Beebee in 1946. Louise graduated from MSU in 1960 and taught elementary school for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; and her son Paul. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry (Sharon) Beebee and Philip Beebee; three granddaughters; nine great grandchildren; her brother, Merle Hoffer; and her sister, Eileen Simon. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
