Lucile H. Alford

Age 82, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away surrounded by her family on December 15, 2014. Lucile was born on January 27, 1932 to Nathan Sr. & Helen (Hayes) Wells. Lucile retired from General Motors after 40 years of service.

Surviving are her daughters, Beverly Pitchford, and Bonnie (Newt) Rowe; grandchildren, Jeremy Pitchford, Michelle (Steve) Mercer, Brandy Buskirk, and Kayla Pitchford; great-grandchildren, Craig Pitchford, Mason and Shelby Mercer, Lexie and Chloe Buskirk; sister, Bertha (Ron) Smith; three brothers, Franklin (Elaine) Wells, Harry Wells, and Milo Wells. Lucile was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gerald on Feb. 7, 2014; son Robert; parents; two sisters, Barbara Shaw, and Dorothy Schieberl; two brothers, Charles Wells, and Nathan "Junior" Wells, Jr.

Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Thursday with services 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 19, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Interment Deepdale Memorial Park.
