Lynne received her associate degree from Lansing Community College, a testament to her lifelong love of learning. An avid reader, she also cherished traveling and was a dedicated fan of Michigan State University sports.
In addition to her academic pursuits and love for sports, Lynne had a passion for games, regularly gathering with friends for weekly sessions of Farkle and poker. Her adventurous spirit led her to take a memorable trip in 1989 when she explored Scotland by bike, traversing the beautiful landscapes of the country.
Lynne is survived by her beloved children, Steve and Ronda Gay; Kenneth Gay; Holly Gay; Thomas Gay; and Marcia Stempleski; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Her warm heart, adventurous soul, and unwavering spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. “Go Green, Go White!”
A visitation for Lynne will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48917.
