Age 87, died September 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Jean was born July 2, 1929 in Petoskey, Michigan and was the daughter of Walter and Thelma (Kennedy) MacMillan.
Jean earned her ungraduate degree from Alma College and her Master's Degree in social work from M.S.U. She married Byron T. Bradley on Dec. 31, 1955 and together they shared 52 years of marriage. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa teaching sorority. She retired with over 30 years of service as a teacher and social worker from the Lansing School District.
She sang in the choir and was an active member of North Presbyterian Church and later Delta Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling and golfing.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda L. (Scott Hammond) Bradley, Catherine A. (Mark Perkoski) Bradley; sons, Mark T. Bradley, James R. (Jennifer) Bradley; 3 grandchildren, Trevor T. Behl, Griffin F. Behl, and Grace Elizabeth Bradley; brother-in-law, John Post. She is preceded in death by her husband, Byron T.; parents, and sister, Barbara Post.
Visitation is 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing 48917. Funeral Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at Delta Presbyterian Church, 6100 W. Michigan Avenue, Lansing 48917, with Pastor Wendy S. Pratt officiating. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Michigan or Alzheimer's Association in memory of Jean.
