

Margaret Krokker, of Lansing, MI, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2020 at the age of 86. Margaret was born in 1934 in Lansing, Michigan. Following graduation from Sexton High School in 1952, Margaret attended Michigan State University, where she earned her B.A. degree. After a more than 30-year career as a teacher, she retired from Grand Ledge Schools in 1992.
Margaret was an avid golfer and a long-time member with husband Jack at the Grand Ledge Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends, completing the daily crossword puzzle, spending time creating cross-stitch and embroidery artwork, and she took great pleasure in visits from her children and grandchildren.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, D.J. and Thelma Wilkinson; husband, Jack Krokker; and sister, Marilyn Carpenter. She is survived by her sister, Judy (Jim) Cunningham of East Lansing, MI; daughter, Karen (Jim) Banks of Lake Odessa, MI; son, Gary (LeAnn) Krokker of St. Joseph, MI; and grandchildren, Patrick, Melissa, Kelly and Dan. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
