Marie Lamp

of Lansing, MichiganAge 51, loving wife, mother, and sister passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007. She was born on October 31, 1955 in Lansing the daughter of Theodore J. and Mildred A. (Scott) Bixler. Mrs. Lamp retired from the State of Michigan Department of Education after 28 years of service. After retirement, she has enjoyed traveling with her husband Wayne. Nothing has meant more to her than her children and husband. Marie took each day one day at a time and handled each day with such grace and appreciation. She was preceded in death by her parents; She will be missed by her husband of 25 years, Wayne; 4 children, Kristopher J. Lamp, Keegan W. (Amanda) Lamp, Kaleena M. Lamp, and Kelsey J. Lamp; 2 siblings, James L. (Wendy) Bixler and Donna (Tim Simpson) Bixler-Simpson; mother-in-law, Myrtle Lamp; many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Wilfred Baker at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 1, 2007 at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Hwy., Lansing with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
