Marion Faith Olson

Stanton, MI Formerly of Lansing, MI

Born October 7, 1919, in Lansing, the daughter of Harvey and Lillian (Dinning) Ackley, entered into her new and eternal life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the age of 92. Marion was a 1939 Lansing Central graduate. She retired from Fisher Body after 26 years of service and moved to Stanton after her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Gail; daughter, Karen Dudley; beloved husband, Edwin. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters, Della Brown, Judith (Floyd) Richards, Connie (Gary) Dumeney, and Stacy Jensen; brother, Harry (Glenda) Gray; sister, Clara McDaniel; 17 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 47 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for the loving care they gave to Marion.
