Marsha Jo Theodorou

Marsha Jo Theodorou, age 75, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Lansing, Michigan on June 15, 2022. Marsha was born June 2, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan to Gerald H. Simmons and Dorothy J. (Claybough) Tomlinson. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1965. Marsha was an enthusiastic Detroit Tigers fan and MSU fan. She had an avid love of sewing and took great joy in creating handmade blankets for her family, friends, and neighbors. Marsha also greatly enjoyed baking. Every Christmas, Marsha happily shared homemade Chex mix, chocolate covered cherries, and puppy chow with her friends and loved ones.

Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Gerald H. Simmons and her husband, George G. Theodorou. She is survived by her children: James (Miracle) J. Linley of East Prairie, MO, Cindy (Dale) L. Seibold of Dimondale, and Carrie (Rob Breckon) G. Feher of Lansing; six grandchildren: Franky Garner, Summer Seibold, Wyatt Seibold, Skyler Allen, Tiffany Feher, and Ashley Feher; her mother, Dorothy J Tomlinson; and four siblings: Robert Simmons, Nancy Howard, Roger Simmons, and Susan Mackie.

Per Marsha’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marsha’s name to Ingham County Animal Control Outreach Center, 826 West Saginaw Street, Lansing, Michigan 48915.
