Mary W. Babcock

Mary was born on January 13, 1951, in Mason, Michigan, to Rolland A. Wing and Patricia A. (Messner) Wing, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mary grew up in Dansville, Michigan, and graduated from Dansville High School in 1969. She continued her education at Michigan State University, earning her bachelor's degree in 1973. She dedicated many years to Dart Container Corporation in Mason, Michigan, where she worked as a customer service representative until her retirement.

Mary found joy in knitting and crocheting, camping, and following her favorite sports teams. She loved Michigan State Spartan football and basketball, as well as the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions. She cherished time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she loved.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Nathaniel (April) Babcock of Umatilla, FL, and Sherianne Babcock of Holt, MI. She was a proud grandmother to Daniel (Natalie) Maddox of Nashville, MI, and their daughter, Willow; Darren Maddox of Nashville, MI; Phillip Babcock of Phoenix, AZ; and Jacob Babcock, Ariel Babcock, and Madison Babcock, all of Umatilla, FL. Mary is also survived by her siblings: sister, Sherry (Joe) Olsen of Bartlett, IL; brother, Larry (Julie) Wing of Mason, MI; and brother, Ron (Lisa) Wing of Louisville, KY. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen H. Babcock and her parents.

A memorial celebration of Mary's life will be announced at a later date.
