I was just reminiscing about your mom today at the lake as she always drove over a couple of times a summer to spend the day. Can't believe she is gone forever but . . .we'l meet again!

Dear Davises, Having lived next to your mother for 20+ years I got to learn a lot about a very special lady. I don't think she walked out her door in the morning until she showered and put on fresh clothing. Nothing seemed out of place. We seem to have this unwritten law the we were to plant our flowers at the same time. As we move down the line of the fence we planted and talked--planted and talked. I think we solved all the problems in the area and the world some times. After a few years of coaxing, I finally got her to the Senior Center to try line dancing. She was a natural and able to take over at times. The ladies loved her because she was easy to talk to. Yes she was and that's why I'll miss her...........

When I first saw your mom as a Teller at the bank I thought she was the most attractive gal I had seen and wished my hair would be as cute as hers. Little did I know that many years later we would become friends both through Plymouth Congregational as well as our husbands. Every wednesday night we would get together at her house while our husbands were playing golf. Of course it went on for years despite no more golf. Your mom was a good conversationalist and a cute sense of humor. A very respectable LADY!
I wouldn't have missed this memorial for anything had I been in town and discovered the obit. As it was I was at our cottage tuesday through saturday. I'll call at a better time to discuss her later life with you. I know this represents a big loss for you all and the end of an era. Sincerely - Gwen & Terry Tisdale
