Mary Lou Eldredge

Went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 23, 2012, at the age of 83. Mary Lou was born April 17, 1929, the daughter of Roy F. and June (Wiersma) Botruff. Mary Lou was a long time member of Grand Ledge Baptist Church and South Church of Lansing. She retired after many years of service for the Michigan Department of Transportation. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she loved attending their sporting events. She loved traveling, walking with her friends, entertaining, and cooking for her family. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband; Robert E. Eldredge in 1994, sister; Joyce Rohrer and sister-in-law Lois Botruff. She is survived by her two daughters; Becky Search, Sherry Brown, son; Rob Eldredge, six grandchildren; Ryan Brown, Nicole (Kirk) Marble, Christina (Alex) Acevedo, Calli Eldredge, Shannon Brown, Brooke Search, brother-in-law; Tom Rohrer, and two brothers; Larry Botruff, and Dan (Lexie) Botruff. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Algoma Baptist Church, 10515 Grange Ave., Rockford, MI with visitation one hour prior. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel; 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing MI 48912.
