If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me; place them in my grandma's arms and tell her they're from me; tell her that that I love her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile; because remembering her is easy; I do it everyday. There's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
I know that you are a much better place now grandma, but you are truly missed and loved each and everyday. I don't know what to do with y extra time. I no longer have to run over to your house to fix your tv because you pushed the wrong button, or come over to show you how to use your camera or your cell phone.
I love you grandma, and think about you everyday. Tell grandpa and uncle Jim Hi for me and that we miss them too.

Your oldest grandchild,

This morning I was taking a walk in the woods and was thinking of you.. I was thinking of your funeral and all the beautiful words spoken about you from your family.. I am sure you heard every word from heaven and you must have been so proud..I know you are celebrating your new life up there and are probably more happy then even you dreamed possible! I just wanted to say a special thank you for all you have given me throughout the years...Acceptance, Encouragement, Wisdom, Correction, and most of all..your Love.. We were all in the presence of one of God's angels and now you are home. I will miss you so much, but you have left a bit of yourself in each life you have touched, including mine. I find myself thinking about you and being grateful that from knowing someone like you, my life has been better and hope to be even a bit more like you!!

Dear Mom:

This morning I woke up really missing you! My only consolation is knowing that you are now in God's world. Now instead of us looking after you, you are looking out for us. It is good to know that all your pains of this world are gone and you are now with God, Glen, Jim and all the other loved ones in Heaven.
