

Maurice Hart, a resident of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 92. Maurice was born in Lansing, Michigan, along with his triplet sisters Marlene and Maurine on June 19, 1932. They were the youngest children of Clifford and Ethel (Abel) Hart.
At the age of 20, Maurice enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for 16 years, achieving Gunner’s Mate First Class by the end of his service. During his military career, he was awarded multiple medals for his honorable service during the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he worked for Servomation until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his brother Charles E. Hart and sisters Velma (Kenneth) Womboldt, Maxine (William) Hilliker, Betty (Jack) Post, Marlene (John) Stillman, and Maurine (Berman) Prether, and both parents.
He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Karen (Glenn) Ernst of Perrinton, Randy Prether of Gaylord, and Scot (Amy Jo) Stillman of Haslett.
A graveside service for Maurice will be held on Friday, March 14th at 2pm at Oak Plain Cemetery.
