Melvin C. Jackson, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was born June 18, 1924 in Kentucky to Roland and Ludie (Cook) Jackson. He was the owner of Daily and Jackson Well Drilling in Lansing, MI and an excavating company in Naples, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Melvin (Dana) Jackson, Karen (Thomas) Delamater, Charlene (Thomas) Brady, and Joyce Sherwood; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at Faith Tabernacle of Lansing, 921 W. Mt. Hope Rd., Lansing.
