Michael James Martin

Michael James Martin, 13, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. He liked to play video games, started playing the saxophone this year in his school band, and enjoyed drawing. Michael was a fun loving, caring, and super smart kid. He loved to make people laugh. He was a world-class snacker and could always be counted on to know where the best snacks in the house were. He loved going over to his big brother's house and hanging out with him, to learn new electronic things and do goofy You Tube videos. He loved going to the movies and binge watching Netflix cuddling on the couch with Mom. His summers were spent in Ohio, with his nana to hang out with Mimi, and his best buddies Sam and Dale. Anyone who met Michael fell in love with him, he was just an awesome kid.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael Corbett.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mom, Joanna; stepfather, Joe Wohlfert; his siblings, Dimitri (Hannah, Ivan) Brown, Mysha Crump, Shawnyne Wohlfert, and Jacob (Sarah) Wohlfert; his nana Candie Corbett and grandma Wohlfert; and his uncle, Todd (Kelly) Corbett.
