He was always the nicest to everyone still love when I get to relive when me first met and we were out getting chased by people and having fun. Even if he was in a bad mood he would still make sure I am okay, he was the sweetest kid ever. When we used to live at the same place there was a broke bridge that we always were scared to walk on but he wanted to do it so I would do it. Then once his brother Carter chased us through the woods and we were all running around having fun. He died way too soon he was always so nice, fun, funny. He was the best person I have ever met he cared and showed me that even if life sucks that there's some good in the world to his family I am so sorry that you guys have to go through this. But to everyone if you need help going reach out.

me and Micheal were really good friends and one time I was going to the bathroom and he walked out and was wearing his football pads and jokingly asked if I wanted to fight and then he smacked his pads and laughed.

My friend Michael was the bestest sweetest friend I could ever have he would give me the best advice on how to fish and he when he taught me we would laugh every time I messed up and now that he's gone all the memories go with him rest in peace Michael my friend

We live in the same subdivision as Michael, and he was in the same classes as my daughter Addisyn growing up.  Often Carter and Michael along with other neighborhood friends would ride their bikes to our house and hangout and jump on our trampoline.  Michael was always polite and a good kid that had the biggest heart.  He often would leave his phone or things at our house and Addisyn would have to return it to him on the bus the next day. I’ll always cherish the memory of Michael knocking on our door asking if Addisyn could come out and play. 💔

My deepest condolences to all the family and friends of Michael. I did not know him, but I am blessed to know his grandmother, Daleann. She was my daughter’s first teacher in DK. She is such a warm and caring person, and she often spoke of her children, and family with great love and pride. I can’t image the pain and loss you all must be feeling. We live in Grand Ledge and I know the community is heartbroken for all of you. I hope that the prayers and support from everyone helps you through this unimaginable loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Jenna, my heart breaks for you. I can’t begin to imagine the pain of losing your precious child — there are no words big enough for that kind of sorrow. Please know that I’m holding you close in my thoughts and in my heart. You are not alone in this. Michael was one of the funniest kids I ever knew — the kind of friend who could make anyone laugh no matter the moment. His jokes, his smile, and his energy always brought light to everyone around him. Beyond his humor, Michael had a real gift for fishing. He had patience, skill, and a love for the water that showed every time he cast a line. He could catch fish when no one else could, turning every trip into a story worth remembering. Though he’s gone, his laughter and fishing tales will live forever in our hearts. Rest easy, Michael.

Me and Michael were in the same class in 2nd or 3rd grade, we became friends shortly after. He was nice and funny. I will never forget the times we player games or the times in class. The last time we talked was a 2 hour call. Thanks for making everyone happy Michael and fly high.

I've known Michael since 1st grade, and he was an amazing friend. He brought joy and happiness wherever he went for 7 years as an amazing person. I literally said goodbye, and then the next day he was gone. I know I can't bring him back, but I can feel the pain that everybody's feeling, and I will be at the funeral, so you will see me

So very sorry.  I saw Michael and his fishing buddy often across the street from our home. 

Had a chance a couple times of briefly talking with them. They even showed to me a picture of a fish they caught in the pond.

Michael and his friend were always very respectful and kind.

I took a writing class with Micheal in fifth grade, he was a really good writer. Although we only had a short time together, I still considered Micheal a friend. His laughter and smile was contagious, and he brought joy wherever he went. He was very enjoyable to be around and it pained me to hear the news of his passing. I’m very sorry for everyone’s loss, Micheal was an awesome kid to be around.
