Mildred passed away peacefully on January 18, 2018 at the age of 95 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born in Port Huron, Michigan. She was a manager for Avon for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Nelson, her son Ricky Nelson and her grandson Brian Hardy. She will be remembered by her daughter Karen (Peter) Asai of Eugene, Oregon; son Tyge (Megan) Nelson of Lansing, MI and son Jack (Pebbla) Nelson of Onekama, MI. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society, or the Mother Theresa House in Lansing. A celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future.
