Murial Jean Kenny

Murial lived a life filled with love, wisdom, and a deep devotion to her faith and family. Born in Michigan in 1931 to Atlee and Mildred Stout, Murial's life was marked by a passion for knowledge and creativity. She found immense joy in the world of literature, spending countless hours immersed in books and poetry, always eager to learn and explore new ideas. Murial's artistic spirit extended beyond reading; she had a gift for crafting beautiful verses and melodies. Her poetry echoed the beauty she found in the world, and her voice filled hearts with joy whenever she sang.

Above all, Murial cherished her family and friends. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Francis Leo Kenny, and a loving mother to her late son, Michael Kenny. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Margaret, Arnold, and Tom. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Susan (Ronald) Clingerman of Jackson, MI; grandchildren, Timothy (Tina) Kenny of St. Johns, MI, Luci (Jason) Isles of Bannister, MI, Matthew Kenny of St. Johns, MI, Cami (Steve) Morello of Brighton, MI, and Heather (David) Arft of Torrance, CA; great-grandchildren, Gabby Isles of Bannister, MI, McCoy Kenny of St. Johns, MI, Gavin Isles of Bannister, MI, Levi Morello of Brighton, MI, and Morgan Morello of Brighton, MI; and her sister, Marjorie Dunckel of Sebewaing, MI.

Murial's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ, which guided her through every joy and challenge she faced. She found comfort and strength in her relationship with the Lord, and her faith served as a beacon of hope for all who knew her.

Murial Jean Kenny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A funeral service for Murial will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48917. Following the service, Murial will be laid to rest in DeepDale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd., Lansing, MI 48917.
