
Nancy was born June 12, 1959 in St. Johns, the daughter of John Willard and Ellen Jane (Everhart) Spicer. Nancy attended Central Michigan University where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She went on to work in Hospitality for several years. She loved sports, especially the Detroit Lions. Nancy was a big MSU fan. However, nothing made her happier than watching her "Little G" play football. She was devoted at cheering on her son at Waverly athletics. She even volunteered at Waverly School and their sports department. She adored her friends, and going out and socializing with them. Nancy loved to see the what the world had to offer and travel to anywhere that she could. Mackinac Island had a big place in her heart. One thing that Nancy was very proud in was her Irish heritage. She was very proud of her ancestry.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held at 12PM April 15, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, with visitation an hour prior.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gilbert (Kim) Gallegos; grandchildren, Addison, Bodie, and Breslin; Brother, Scott (Donna) Spicer; Sister-in-Laws, Nancy Spicer and Becky Spicer; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Spicer; father, John Spicer; and Brothers, Steve Spicer and George Spicer.
