Nicholas Jay Norris

Nicholas Jay Norris passed away on April 24, 2016 at the age of 27 years of age. Nick left this world way too soon; he is free of the pain; and now is with our father in heaven. Nicholas will be deeply missed by his mother Kimberly Norris; father,Ronald Norris; brother, Chad Norris; grandmother, Carol Davarn, grandfather, William Davarn; Uncle William Norris his (godfather); Aunt Miriam Norris; cousin, Ryan Norris; Great Uncle William Strait; Great Aunt Virginia Strait his (godmother); girlfriend, Alicia Martinez; and many special friends that grew up with him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Allen Crittenden; grandfather William Norris; grandmother Barbara Graham and their parents. Nicholas had a passion for football and was extremely talented and gifted with the sport. Nicholas was an avid outdoorsman which including bow-hunting, gun hunting and fishing. Nicholas enjoyed many weekends with his close friends and family at Houghton Lake Michigan as he loved the water and to jet ski and go boating not to mention all the spring breaks he took his buddies on to Florida. A private Memorial Service will be held. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing.
