Nikki Ann Joseph

Nikki Ann Joseph (Kamar), age 75, of Lansing, Michigan passed away after a courageous battle with uterine cancer on Friday, September 23, 2022. Nikki was born July 21, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Nick and Mary Kamar (Rashid). Nikki earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Michigan State University. She taught middle school Spanish, American and World History, and Language Arts for 35 years. She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques, rooting for the Detroit Tigers, and cooking special Lebanese dishes for Sunday dinners for her family. Nikki had an entrepreneurial spirit and always put her family first through her sacrifices and hard work. Nikki enjoyed being a dedicated mother and always made holidays and birthdays special for her family. Nikki is survived by her beloved husband, Nick Joseph; her 2 sons, Charles Joseph and Mark Joseph; 2 siblings, Victoria Olivett and Mark Kamar; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Sparrow Hospital and the Elara Caring hospice nurses for all their excellent care. A memorial visitation for Nikki will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:30 PM at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 West Saginaw Street, Lansing, MI 48917. A memorial Mass will occur Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with a one-hour prior memorial visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing, MI 48906. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nikki's memory may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, 102 W Randolph St., Lansing, Michigan 48906.
