Nina Elizabeth Bancroft, 72, of Mason, formerly of Lansing, Michigan, passed away July 30, 2014. She was born January 20, 1942 to Gerald and Leta (Moore) Hankins. Nina enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking, especially homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. While Nina lived in both Lansing and the Petoskey area, she also resided in Germany and Hawaii during her lifetime.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Charles Bancroft, Jr., and her parents. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Jeffrey (Wanda) Bancroft, Machelle Bancroft, Brenda (the late Jeffrey) Stevens, and Stephanie (Aaron) Berg; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Broman and Bonnie Atherton.
No services will be held. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906.
