Norma was called home by her Heavenly Father on April 6, 2016 at age 72. She was born on January 28, 1944 to Kurt and Hazel Weinzierl. After graduating from Sexton High school, she was employed at Michigan Bell. Years later, she worked for her family dentist. Reading, sewing, and spending time in her flower garden were among some of her favorite things to do. However, her faith, family, and friends were most important.
Norma is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill Jenkins; two sons, John Jenkins, and Jeff (Pam) Jenkins one grandson, Ty Jenkins; one brother, Jacob Weinzierl; and many cousin and other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Emanuel First Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 with Pastor Paul J. Lindloff presiding.
