Norma Lee Pulice was born in February of 1935. She passed away December 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Sylvia Page and sister, Rachel. Norma lost her daughter, Cathy, in July of 2017.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Pulice; sons, David (Steve) and Mark (Carolyn); grandsons, Tony, Paul and Brandon and great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Joey and Sloane.
Norma lived her entire life in Lansing. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1953. Married for 65 years, she and Tom were high school sweethearts.
Norma worked at the state of Michigan Conservation Department until Tom graduated from GMI. They spent their retirement winters in Bradenton, Florida, where they met many new friends.
Norma enjoyed being adventurous. In midlife she learned to scuba dive. She took woodworking classes and received a table saw for mother’s day.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved fishing and hunting with her dad. She was interested in genealogy and travelled extensively to relatives, libraries and cemeteries to gather information.
Norma was active with the Pilgrim Congregational women’s church circle.
She was a good conversationalist. Her home was a welcome place for friends of all ages to come and visit.
Visitation at Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Sunday, December 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral service at Pilgrim Congregational Church UCC, 125 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, Monday, December 10 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Rev. Peter Robinson will officiate.
