Age 84, our loving father and grandfather went home to his Lord on January 21, 2007.
Born June 6, 1922 in Union City, MI. Orlando served with U.S. Army during WW II.
He was the owner of Anthony's Party Store. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the American Legion. He loved to spend time at his cabin in "God's Country" near Grayling.
Orlando was preceded in death by his first wife of 19 years, Virginia, and second wife of 24 years, Marlene; and his granddaughter, Ginny Fabiano. Surviving are his son Anthony A. (Betty) Fabiano; 3 grandchildren, Roger (Rebecca) Fabiano, Anthony Fabiano, and Nicholas Prass; 2 great-grandchildren, Zachary A. Fabiano, and Matthew Fabiano; brother, George (Myrna) Fabiano; 3 sisters, Yolanda Pearson, Margaret (Edward) Fox, and Gloria Rousso; dear sister-in-law, Mary Fortino; several nieces and nephews; nephew, John Fox; special friend, Rodney Sober. Visitation is from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Wednesday with a 7:00 P.M. Wednesday Vigil Service.
Funeral Liturgy is 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 25, at Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan, Lansing. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 A.M. Thursday at church. Rite of committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Vincent Home for Children or Resurrection School Scholarship Fund.
