Pamela Marie Dolen

Pamela Marie Dolen passed away on May 14th, 2025, at her home in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 67. She was born June 17th, 1957, in Mt. Morris, Michigan to parents Bert and Gloria Foster. She married Stephen Romuald Dolen II in Lansing, Michigan on April 8, 1989. Pam worked for over 30 years in the Human Resources department as a Payroll Manager at Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Lansing, Michigan, a position from which she retired in 2021. Pam dedicated a majority of her Sundays to The First United Brethren Church and, in recent years, to Northpointe Community Church as a Sunday school teacher.

Pam was a beloved wife, mother, sister, Sunday school teacher, and friend to so many. As much as she was loved, she loved back, deeply and joyfully. She loved God, her family, her friends, her cats, and the children whom she taught each Sunday. She dedicated herself selflessly to supporting others, and was always there for her husband, sons, and friends, especially through the most difficult times. Pam will be remembered smiling and joking, as she normally was, always remembering to take life as it came. She always thought of herself as “pretty crafty” (which she was), and spent her free time drawing, painting, sewing, gardening, cooking, creating art, caring for her cats, and drinking coffee. She brought so many people so much joy; her calming and loving presence will not be forgotten.

Surviving are her mother: Gloria Foster; children: son and daughter-in-law Wesley Luke (Laura) Dolen and son Caleb Foster Dolen; siblings: Sister and brother-in-law Angela L (Scott) Freeman, brother and sister-in-law Bert D (Judy) Foster, and brother and sister-in-law Steve (Lisa) Foster; her many nieces and nephews, as well as cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Romuald Dolen II.

Pam’s family will be having a memorial service to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 24th at 2:30PM. The service will be held at Northpointe Community Church, 505 E Webb Dr, Dewitt, MI 48820.
