Dear Patty,  where are you? My heart is in pain from your absence.
I have never been so  broken as I am now.  Every place I go, the people  
have such wonderful memories of you and they are smiling as they share their experiences. I had no idea you brought so much joy to so many people.  I am filled with regrets, never enough time to be together and you left me too soon.  We had a deal, remember,  we would take care of each other in our old age.  Thank you for taking all the  extra care of me up until your death, and yes I see the smile on your face.  I'll be calling out  for you just like Mom did.

Dear Patty, you will be missed yet not forgotten, especially by the Grace St. neighbors of Lansing.  You lived your life with intention, determination and clarity!  You will always be remembered as Grace Street’s self-appointed security person, ensuring neighbors receive their packages, watching out over their homes, etc. You shared your cooking, baking, canning food treasures with your neighbors abundantly. When working on house indoors or outdoor projects , you knew how you wanted them done while letting that be known!  You were always thoughtful to ask about your niece, Elizabeth’s classes, and how things were going for her when we talked on the phone. The photo added here is from the time of your visit with me when I worked at UC San Diego Hospital in San Diego.  May you rest in peace with Chuck, Tom & Ken our other siblings. Patty, you were my beautiful Gerber Patty.  You were so much help to me in my later years, responding to the medical alert notices and arriving before the ambulance, cleaning, gardening, cooking, baking, my laundry and driving me wherever I needed to go.   I really delighted in the desserts that you made for me.  And now  we are together in heaven.  I have missed you.  And I Love You,  Mom

I met Patty when we first moved on to Grace Street, Patty was definitely a leader of the neighborhood. Something that I'll never forget that Patty did was my daughter did not have many friends that came around to see her for her birthday but Patty had made her a special for herself only and she made it very clear that Joe not touch it a pineapple cheesecake one of her favorite snacks that she would bring to the house I have a photo of Patty and my daughter. Patty also was not someone that was easily convinced to do something that she disagreed with she would stand her ground I have never seen that woman change her mind about anything I think that's what made her so special she was a strong woman and I think she lived the fullest life. When Patty was diagnosed with cancer she was given a few months to live and did she ever prove the doctor's wrong me personally I feel that it was her tenacity she got out there she continued to do yard work she continued to do everything that she did before as if she wasn't sick she lived a few years and I've never heard the woman complain. She will be missed by The Neighborhood.

Patty Cake, I will miss you, sister. You were the best example of a truly kind generous thoughtful woman.  You are finally at peace after many heartaches during your lifetime.  And you are with your family.

Dear Cyberski family, Our beloved Patty fought a gallant battle against an unforgiving foe. She is with her Heavenly Father and those that so loved her that have passed before her. She is at peace🙏.
