Patricia Ann Gardner was born on February 9, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan and passed away on August 6, 2015 at the age of 73. The daughter of Carl and Violas (Stalker) Waltz, she graduated from Central Michigan with a bachelor degree in teaching. Pat loved her family dearly; being a wife and mother were her most important job. Pat was an artistic soul and especially enjoyed painting, woodworking, and writing. Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Robert; sons, Steven (Lisa) Gardner and Scott (Elizabeth Tilden) Gardner; daughters, Sherri Saurbek, and Sandy (Troy) Barnhill; and twelve grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan, officiated by Pastor Michael Geiger. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m., on Sunday at the funeral home, as well as one hour prior to the service. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
