Age 89, our loving mother and grandmother was called home to her Lord on December 7, 2017. Born September 30, 1928 in Lansing. Patricia was a graduate of J.W. Sexton High School class of 1945. Her great joy was raising and showing Keeshonden dogs. She was an instructor for obedience, conformation, tracking, and agility. She had several champion Keeshonds in her career.
Surviving are her Daughter, Marsha A. (Tom) Frain; son, Michael Arthur Thomas; granddaughter, Melissa Matthew (Fiancé, Bryan); Nephew, Malvin Balow. Patricia was preceded in death by her husbands Henry W. Thomas, and Frederick Miller; sister, Mary Alice Balow.
Visitation is from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. Saturday with the funeral liturgy 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. Vincent Richardson presiding. Rite of committal Deepdale Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society or the Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
