Paul Frederick Schraft

Paul Frederick Schraft, son of George Schraft, Sr. and Ida Weber passed away on February 27, 2011 at the age of 99. He was born on February 27, 1912. Surviving are his wife of 77 years, Katherine Elsa Schraft; son, Bruce (Linda); grandchildren, Jonathan Schraft, Sherri Bauman, Deborah Knickerbocker, Barry Tilson (Rebecca), Jennifer Tilson and Grace Dingo; great-grandchildren, Nichole, Emily, Ellen, Noah and Gavin; brother, George Schraft, Jr. (Patricia); also many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Arthur Schraft. Paul was employed by Motor Wheel Corp for 35 years. He loved to fish, hunt, play cards, garden, follow the Michigan State teams, and have an occasional beer and cigar. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, at Noon at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 7910 East St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing with the Rev. Roy C. Olsen, officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 7910 East St. Joe Hwy., Lansing, MI 48917 in memory of Mr. Schraft. On line condolences may be sent at:
