Paul E. Travis

Age 82, died March 26, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan the son of J.W. and Hazel Travis. Paul was a resident of Lansing all of his life. He worked at Oldsmobile for a couple of years where he met his wife, Joyce. Paul went on to work for the State of Michigan and retired after 34 years of service as a Drafting Engineer. He was a World War II Army veteran and proudly served our country. Paul enjoyed hunting, a good game of golf and gambling. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Neller. Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce; daughters, Judy A. Haist and Dyan L. (Vern) Griswold; son, Alan Barrett; four grandchildren; brother, Joe Travis; sister-in-law’s, Nancy Zazewski and Peggy Kaye; brother-in-law, Ronald (Dorothy) Underhill. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel, 900 E, Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, MI with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
