"I've gone to cut the angel's hair." Born July 24, 1943 in Lansing, MI. He met his maker on January 4, 2014 at the age of 70.
Phillip died as he lived with class and dignity. He served his county in the Army stationed in Germany 1966-1969. He had several careers in his life from concrete truck driver, hair salon owner, tire sales at Brogan's, and selling hearing aids at Miracle Ear. His greatest achievement was his people skills, he knew how to win people over and make them feel wonderful about themselves. He will be missed by all his family.
Surviving are his 4 sisters, Antoinette Colagross, Margaret (Jim) Seymour, Barbara LaFay-Marzette, and Theresa (Curtis) Ives; 6 brothers, Lawrence (Bonnie), Robert (Myrtle), Francis (Judy), Stephen (Sharon), Thomas (Rose), and Jerry LaFay; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis & Norma LaFay, and brothers, William and John.
