
Dimondale
Age 91, passed away Aug. 5, 2016. He was born Oct. 30, 1924 in Shiawassee County, MI to Louis and Vera (Tink) Geyer. He lived most of his life in the Lansing area. Ray was an Army veteran who proudly served his country during WWII. He retired from general Motors as a crane operator after 30 years. Ray enjoyed woodworking, riding quads and motorcycles, shooting and target practice, and spending time at his cottage at Six Lakes. He especially enjoyed meeting and talking to people.
Ray was preceded in death in 1998 by his wife of 52 years, Doris “Elaine” (Brown); and two brothers, Lester and LaVern Geyer. Surviving to cherish his memory are daughter, Linda (Ken) Farnum; grandchildren, T.J. (Alicia) Farnum, Eric (Rehita) Farnum; sisters, Lucile (Don) Siegel, Nancy (Wayne) Beiser; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Aug. 11, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Interment with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Dimondale, MI.
