Ray was the loving husband of the late Tootie Rodgerson; beloved father of Kathy (Gilbert) Quesada; Curtis (Michelle) Rodgerson and Russell Rodgerson; cherished grandfather of Sophia, Daniel, Heather, Joe, Olivia, Brooke, Casey and Ravin; great-grandfather of Madison and Kali; and dear brother of James (Carole) Rodgerson, Helen (Bob) Moore, and the late Joe (Ollie) Rodgerson, Jesse Rodgerson, Elaine (Pete) Asbury and Ruth (David) Alexander.
Ray was married to the love of his life, Tootie, for almost 52 years. They shared a love for traveling and would often take Ray’s Harley Davidson out for a ride through the country. He enjoyed anything outdoors from hunting and fishing to golfing. Ray could entertain a crowd with a few of his many talents – the accordion, trombone or harmonica. He especially loved his family – they were the most important. He was a proud father and a prankster of a grandfather. There is nothing he loved more than spending time with them.
He served his country in the Army and his community as a fireman – retiring after 20 years as a Lieutenant.
Ray will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.grlansing.com for the Rodgerson family.
