Father, grandfather ("Papa"), and great-grandfather ("Papa"), left this world to be with his wife in Heaven on October 3, 2026.
Buzz served in the United States Marine Corps before hiring into General Motors where he worked for 35 years before retiring.
He had a big love of family and friends, and a love of the outdoors; hunting and fishing were his passion. He is probably already chasing birds with his many hunting dogs that were waiting for him as well.
Buzz is now reunited with (Mom) Marcia Bowser, as well as his parents, Seymore and Thelma Bowser, his brother Gary Bowser, and many other family members along with his best friend Orson Shoup.
Robert is survived by his children, Janice Bowser Glew (Virgil), Chad Bowser (Angelica), and Karen Kelley (Tim); grandkids, Halie Held (Patrick), Lil Virgil Glew (Kaylee), Robert Glew, Shaymus Kelley and Myla Knight; and great-grandson, Luka Held.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 West Saginaw Street, Lansing. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home, with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
