Dear Audrey and Jim.
I was so sad to learn of the passing of your dear father. Another of the remaining few of the Greatest Generation is gone. They endured the hardships of the Great Depression, and many of them, like your father, went on to serve valiantly in World War II. Then they came home and created the stable and loving families and neighborhoods that many of our generation were so lucky to grow up in. I remember your father as a part of the fabric of our own such neighborhood.
Sending you warm thoughts and prayers in your time of loss,
Ingrid

Audrey:
We were very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a nice man, a very special person. Tough times losing parents and so many friends lately, but we are finding good memories help sustain us . And many good memories include ones of your folks, Mt. Hope Methodist, and Walker get-togethers. Please know my sisters and I are thinking of you and your family, keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
