One of the best Sergeants I ever work for. You as a Patrolman always remember the people who treated you well. I will always remember you Sgt. Bob Kline! You had a great smile and wonderful personality. You, his children, should know that your Father was very well liked and respected by all at the Lansing Police Department. Be very proud of him and his career, he was a great person.

I wish I would of been able to see him and have one more conversation with him. There times I sit back and think about some of thw stories he would tell me. R.i.p. Bob you will be missed by many.

Feeling a bit lost knowing I will never be able to have another argument with you.
I will treasure our coffee time together, you being the grumpy one, always making a new pot of coffee for me. Thanks for being a great father in law.
I am so glad you came to visit last summer. Those are memories I will treasure forever.
Hoping you are greeted with a fresh bowl of buttered popcorn and tons of hugs. ;)
I am honored to have been a part of your life. Love you so much.

Dear Eileen, all of Bob's family,
Just three weeks ago, I was sitting in the living room, listing to Bob reminisce about his experiences as a policeman. He told some funny stories, and I said to him, "you should write a book." He reminded me of the time, probably about 20 years ago, when I visited with Nathan and Greg, and they broke a window in the basement. He laughed about it. "What a gentle, loving, and forgiving person he is", I thought.
Eddie remembers the visit we had a few years ago when Bob took him on an adventure looking for an aviation map. They found treasures in unexpected places. Ultimately, while Eddie visited with a fellow aviator, drooling over his wonderful collection of airplanes, Bob stood by totally enjoying the novelty of the experience. Eddie considers it an honor and a privilege to have known Bob.
We are with you in our thoughts and prayers. May all of your memories, and your trust in Jesus carry you through the days to come.
With much love,
Eddie and Helen Rose
