Age 67, our loving father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026. Born August 28, 1958 in Kalkaska, MI. Robert worked as a general manager at Friedland Industries and worked with the company for over 45 years.
Robert was a devoted father and passionate golfer. He was also a proud homeowner who enjoyed working in his yard. He always cherished making memories with his two daughters Katina and Roni.
Surviving are his two daughters, Katina Edgar (David) and Roni Lather (Jordan); his grandchildren Savannah, Ignacia, LJ, and Braylon; his brother Randy; his mother Georgina Lather; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in passing are his father Wilfred Lather; his wife Alicia Lather; his brother Ron Lather; his sister Cheri; and his step-daughter Amber.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence for their compassionate care and support during Robert's final days.
Robert will always be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and his devotion to his family and friends.
