Ronald James Cooley

Lansing, Michigan

Age 60 passed away at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born October 5, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Henry and Agnes (Weitzel) Cooley. He married Teresa Ledesma in Lansing on January 14, 1977 and she survives. Ronald served our country in the United States Army. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother uncle and friend who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was very laid back and easy going, loved to take trips with his family to Ludington and ride his 1977 Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Roy Cooley. Besides his loving wife of 36 years, Ronald is survived by his children: Christine Cooley, Nichole Keckler, Maria (William) Lehman and Tony Cooley; 9 grandchildren: Marissa, Matthew, Baylee, Nikala, Zachary, Nevaeh, Joshua, Cohen and Dominic; 1 great-granddaughter on the way; siblings: Calvin (Donna) Cooley, Carole Haley, Phylis (Ron) Welch, Richard Cooley, Kathy (Steve) Lyell, Tom Cooley and several nieces and nephews. Ronald's family will celebrate his life with a Mass on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, Lansing with Father John Fain officiating. The family will receive visitors at Tiffany Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a Vigil service at 7:00 PM.
