

Rosemary Briget (Lorber) Martin, 81, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at The Laurels of Fulton. Rosemary was born on November 24, 1943 in San Bernardino, California to the late Victor James Lorber and Rosemary Kommel Morrow.
She spent her early life in numerous places in California, eventually relocating to Sumner, Michigan where she raised her five children. Later, Rosemary moved to Lansing to be closer to her job at General Motors. She remained in Lansing after her retirement from GM.
Rosemary loved being a gardener as her health permitted and could name every flower to ever bloom. She also liked to create and sew beautiful quilt masterpieces. It was her pride and joy.
Rosemary is survived by her five children, Diana (Larry) Denman of Hemlock, Thomas (Julie) Hamp of Dewitt, Renee (Ross) Slabbekoorn of Kent City, Vicky (Roger) Jeffers of Fenwick, John Martin Jr. of Sumner. She had 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind three sisters and one brother: Cheryl Kepler of Mesa, Arizona, Alan (Debra) Kommel of Alma, Felice Bennett of Santa Maria, California, and Shannon (Marie) Morrow of West Minster, California.

A Celebration of her Life will take place at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Dewitt, MI. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Service will begin at 11 a.m., following visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked you to consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as per Rosemary’s wishes.
