Rosemary "Mowie" Elise Szarka

Went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July, 5th, 2021.

Loving wife, sister, and friend, Rosemary Elise Gee was born on December 16th, 1953 to her loving parents, Maurice and Doris Gee at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.

Rosemary is a Graduate of Eastern High School, and was employed for many years at Sparrow Hospital in Central Supply before her retirement.

Rosemary is survived by her loving husband, Daniel "Dan" Szarka, to whom she was married for 40 years; brother and sister-in-law, Fredrick and Cheryl Gee of Laingsburg, Michigan; and numerous cousins, family, and friends.

Rosemary attended Trinity Church of Lansing and had a personal relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ.

Rosemary's personal ministry and gift that she was so fond of carrying out was sharing and sending cards and notes to many of her family and friends or anyone who she may have thought needed a special greeting or word of encouragement. If Rosemary knew that you needed cheering up or were in need of a special note, you would get a card in the mail or even two.

She was an Ovarian cancer survivor herself and was cancer free until her passing of an unrelated cause.

A positive attitude was something that she inherited from her mother and kind words were so many times an encouragement for others, and this will be a large portion of the legacy she leaves, cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

One of Rosemary's greatest hopes was to see those she knew and loved surrender their hearts and lives to the same One she did so many years ago, her Creator and Lord Jesus Christ.
