Ruth taught for us in our travel courses earning great evaluations and also arranged travel for the College and many of us administrators who enjoyed her expertise in arranging travel around the world and in the United States.  She was our family travel agent as well and we deeply appreciated her friendship as well as her talent and outstanding results.  We will miss her but offer praise for her to her family. Although I never met Ruth, I'm in debt to her for a family history which she wrote years ago. My condolences to the family.

My sincerest sympathy and condolences to Ruth's children, their families, and those who were close to her.  Although our paths crossed very few times for family events and celebrations, I remember Ruth as a vibrant and outgoing person who truly enjoyed being part of these occasions.  Always dignified and outspoken, she made all feel welcome wherever she was.  This is how I will remember Ruth.

I didn't know Ruth, but am honored and delighted to know her daughter Laurie. Love and my sincere condolences to Ruth's family and friends. She turned out one heck of a daughter!

I will miss Ruth and everyone in the travel industry will miss Ruth.  Ruth was a fine teacher, travel agent and friend.  You have booked the best trip....Heaven.

Ruth was my best friend! The miles had separated us over the years, but we always kept in touch and her bright spirit was always with her. She always asked how I was doing before I could ask her about her well being - that was Ruth - always caring and concerned about others.  I was so hoping to see her again when I moved back closer to her area. Now I will have to wait to see her in Heaven, but oh what a fun reunion it will be. I love you and will miss you my dear friend.

Ruthie was a classmate and friend who I knew well.  My sympathy goes out to all her children.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

Ruthie was my dearest friend throughout our school days and we shared so many special times together.  Even though I haven't lived near her for over 60 years, I still consider her close to my heart and I will miss her terribly.  
She didn't have an easy life but never complained or blamed anyone else.  I'm sure she will have a very special spot in heaven because she certainly deserves it.

A wonderful woman who I will always fondly remember.

Even though Ruth's beautiful heart as big as the whole outdoors has stopped beating she will continue to live in the hearts of the countless number of people who knew and loved her to the moon and back.  She was my friend, my rock, my cheer leader and very dear friend.  God sent her to me when I was in the pits of despair over thirty years ago.  Because of Ruth's friendship I was able to gain the strength I needed.  This lady lived life to the fullest even though life dealt her some very tough blows.  But she handled those blows with more class than anyone else I know.  Her humor and love of family, friends and people in general will live on in all of us.  Till we meet again my beautiful friend may I say one last time that I love you.
