Age 77, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Tecumseh Place in Tecumseh, MI. Ruth was born in Benton, Missouri on April 22, 1932, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Stewart. She married Burman Greene on September 23, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1996. Ruth and Burman lived in Lansing, Michigan for nearly fifty years. Ruth is survived by her children, Charles (Deborah) Greene of Tecumseh, MI, Sharon Greene of Yuma, Arizona, and Raymond (Alice) Greene of Holland, MI; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and her extended family at Tecumseh Place. She will always be remembered for her love of life and her sense of humor. In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger; brothers, James, Jack, and Joseph Stewart; and sister, Annabelle Freeman.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday with services 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 31, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Ralph Barton officiating.
